As part of our integrated services, you will be working on complex industrial projects and engineering design projects with large scale manufacturing clients, across the U.S. and globally.
This is a pivotal client facing role, where providing our clients with the right solution, on time and on budget is central to our business success; candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills in addition to extensive relevant industrial experience and technical knowledge.
Ideally, you will have a range of Utilities Engineering knowledge, and the professional qualifications to endorse this. You will own delivery of our Projects, oversee and sign off work produced by our Engineers, co-ordinating, managing their outcomes, supervising them and supporting their development as they progress. As such, you will need significant experience in a variety of Process or Mechanical Engineering skills and technologies in order to confidently approve, improve, and add value to each project.

Able to lead our work on sustainability and decarbonisation projects and use holistic analysis of existing processes to determine the best solution for each scenario.
Act as a Project Delivery expert, managing each project to partner with clients on various projects from concept/feasibility through to detailed design and implementation.
Experience working as a client focused engineer, delivering on projects, typically within manufacturing facilities/factories and projects relating to utility plants and systems.
Experience of modelling and implanting changes to existing and new utility pipeworks and systems.
Provide expertise in application, understanding and key principles of heat recovery, heat pumps, and chiller technologies as well as various other utility engineering technologies.
Process design and checking and assisting preparation of flowsheets, PFDs, and P&IDs
Propose additional value to each project where suitable and in fitting with our service provision
Drive the continuous improvement process and mentoring of developing engineers within the organisation.
Sets and upholds standards of operating excellence using the BMS and internal processes.

Desirable Skills and Interests:
Mechanical/Process or Chemical Engineering Degree (ideally we seeking MEng)
Significant demonstrable leadership experience in application of chillers, heat recovery and heat pumps and other utility technologies
Senior Technical Engineering SME role experience within a manufacturing process or within a Consultancy.
Technical knowledge of HVAC and other industrial utility plant practical applications
Practical expert knowledge of other utilities systems including boilers & steam plants, refrigeration & cooling systems, compressed air systems and water treatment.
Able to sign off verified work; technically responsible for final approvals of other engineers’ inputs.
Strong I.T. general and technical skills, Microsoft Office inc. Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Visio etc., and any other project software packages such as MS Project
Excellent Excel and data analytical skills
A clear commitment to personal continuous professional development, able to lead by example.
Managerial experience, coaching and line management, supervising and delegating
Focused on the content accuracy of engineering knowledge and expertise in design mech Eng.

Qualifications and Additional Requirements:
Professional Engineer with a recognised institution preferred but not essential.
Degree or higher in a relevant technical Engineering discipline.
Highly PC Literate – MS office, MS Project plus other relevant softwares.
Resident in USA (with current existing eligibility or visa to travel further afield).
Current Driving License and own vehicle.
Project Management qualification and further mentoring or leadership aspiration
Starter – Completer work ethic, accountable and able to lead with confidence.

This position would be offered on either a Hybrid module, reporting to our Indiana offices, or on a work from home basis with some travel to our office and client sites as mandatory.
