Experienced Labor & Delivery RN needed for a high-acuity perinatal setting. The nurse will manage both low- and high-risk labor and delivery patients, provide fetal monitoring, circulate for C-sections, and coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team. The unit is equipped with triage bays, LDR rooms, operating rooms, NICU, and postpartum services, supported by 24/7 OB hospitalist and anesthesia coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care for laboring patients including high-risk obstetric cases

Use external fetal monitoring and recognize/treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns

Circulate in C-sections and assist surgical teams as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Utilize SBAR, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts for documentation and coordination

Float to perinatal units when required

Work every other weekend; holiday shifts required

Participate in self-scheduling with manager approval Ax
