Overview

MedAdventures is currently hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will work closely with patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and experienced in geriatric or SNF care settings.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, mobility, strength, and coordination

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff

Document treatments, progress, and discharge plans in accordance with facility policies

Educate patients and families on continued care and home programs

Requirements:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Ohio

SNF experience preferred but not required

Strong communication and clinical skills

Ability to work independently and within a team
