Weâ re looking for an on-site Administrative Assistant in the real estate development industry based in central Winnipeg, MB.
Our client is a dynamic and growing real estate development company with a close-knit team. They value teamwork, initiative, and a positive attitude. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing front-desk support, coordinating office activities, assisting with property leasing administration, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a busy and collaborative office environment.
Administrative Assistant responsibilities:
Answer phones and manage front desk reception
Ensure boardroom is prepared for meetings
Arrange couriers as required
Manage hard copy and digital filing systems
Order, unpack, and organize office supplies
Set up Teams/Zoom meetings on short notice
Assist with digital advertising on platforms such as Kijiji and Marketplace
Support the accountant with payables and other administrative tasks
Stamp outgoing mail, drop off at mailbox, and check mail daily
Monitor security cameras at the buildingâ s front entrance
Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets
Handle tenant relations, including responding to inquiries and follow-ups
Manage leasing activities for residential properties, including advertising and showing properties
Prepare, send, and file digital lease renewals
Provide weekly arrears reports to the CAO and follow up with tenants as needed
Manage the business centre, including seven offices and a boardroom, ensuring supplies and coffee are stocked and addressing any enquiries
The successful candidate has:
3+ years of experience in administrative or office support roles
1+ years of experience in an administrative role in the property management, real estate, or tenant management industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel â mid-level, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A team-oriented mindset and positive personality
Compensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $50,000 â $55,000 depending on experience
