Full-Time Permanent

A leading Am Law 100 firm is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development to support its Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice.

This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on driving business growth, deepening client relationships, and elevating the practice’s market visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies in collaboration with M&A leadership

Lead client targeting, cross-selling, and relationship-building efforts

Create tailored proposals, RFPs, and client-facing materials

Manage thought leadership, marketing campaigns, and events

Oversee practice group budget and reporting

Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence

Travel as needed to support key initiatives

Qualifications

Successful Candidates Must Have "Top US 50 Law Firms in Revenue" experience!

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Law, or related field (required)

12+ years of BD/marketing experience, ideally in legal or professional services

5+ years of team leadership in a law firm or similar environment (required)

Direct experience supporting M&A or corporate law practices (required)

Key Skills

Strong leadership, writing, and communication skills

Deep understanding of M&A market and legal industry trends

Proficiency with MS Office, CRM tools, and marketing platforms
