Infrastructure Specialist 1

Schedule: Full-time

We are seeking an Infrastructure Specialist 1 in our Division of Information Technology Services.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Install, maintain, configure, upgrade, and/or administer hardware and/or software; utilize vendor supplied third party utilities for monitoring; diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues

Provide tier II-III level customer support; conduct performance tuning for hardware and/or software; develop and maintain documentation; develop and maintain ad-hoc utilities reports to automate processes

Manage devices (e.g., phones and tablets) and application compliance on third party software

Travel to DYS facilities and regional offices to resolve issues

36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.

Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems; and 18 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.

Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems; and 12 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
