Facilities Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Engineer to lead and support production line installation and modification projects in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of equipment installation, from pre-construction planning to commissioning, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

Plan, manage, and execute production line installation and modification projects from concept to completion.

Supervise on-site construction and contractor activities, ensuring all work adheres to safety and compliance standards (OSHA, internal protocols).

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, production, and external vendors to ensure timely execution of technical projects.

Install, calibrate, and validate production equipment (e.g., conveyors, robotic hangers, tooling fixtures) to meet operational requirements.

Troubleshoot installation and equipment integration issues to reduce downtime during project transitions.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on labor optimization and cycle time reduction.

Maintain accurate documentation of project milestones, test results, and implementation plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

1+ years of experience in facilities or engineering

Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting

Experience with construction oversight and contractor supervision

Familiarity with lean manufacturing, safety standards, and process improvement methodologies

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Proficiency in CAD or facility layout tools is a plus
