Work Student

The work student will support the engineering team at Sensata Technologies in Hengelo by performing detailed analysis on high-voltage contactor components after testing. This includes destructive analysis, documentation of findings, and collaboration with design engineers. The role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain technical experience in a high-tech automotive environment during the summer period.

General Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis of tested high-voltage multi-switch components

• Perform (destructive) inspections and document findings in collaboration with design engineers

• Support ongoing product validation and improvement efforts

• Work with advanced testing and analysis tools

• Contribute to the understanding of component behavior and failure mechanisms

• Maintain accurate documentation of analysis results and observations

• Participate in team discussions and share insights from analysis work

Experience / Qualifications

• Enrolled in an MBO, HBO, or University of Twente (UT) program in Mechanical Engineering (WTB), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechatronics, or Applied Physics (TN)

• Strong interest in hands-on technical work and product analysis

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills in Dutch or English

• Organized and detail-oriented with a proactive attitude

• Available during the summer period
