The Team Members’ Restaurant (Staff Canteen) Supervisor will oversee the smooth operation of the Team Members’ Restaurant, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and service areas. The ideal candidate should be organized, reliable and willing to take initiative, ensuring both excellent service and a clean, safe environment for all team members.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of the Team Members’ Restaurant, ensuring timely meal service and food availability
Monitors portion control and minimize food waste
Ensures cleanliness and presentation of the Team Members’ Restaurant (tables, counters, service areas, food preparation areas, floors and waste disposal zones)
Addresses feedback from team members and escalate issues as necessary
Maintains canteen supplies (e.g., utensils, condiments, cleaning materials) and inform management of replenishment needs
Assists in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards and ensures compliance with health & safety regulations and internal policies
Wash dishes, utensils, pots and kitchen equipment
Supports the kitchen team during busy periods
Disposes of rubbish appropriately and keep kitchen storage areas organized
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or Team Members’ Restaurant environment
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible and willing to work early shifts, weekends and public holidays
Valid Food Handling Certificate
Experience supervising a small team or leading shifts
