Controls Engineer
Location: Georgetown, KY
Pay Rate: $55$60 per hour
Type: Full-Time Contract
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Requirements: Steel Toe Boots 25% International Travel (U.S., Canada, Mexico)
About the Role
Reliance One is seeking a Controls Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on deploying digital transformation and process improvement initiatives. This role will involve both design and hands-on implementation, including on-site deployment and installations across North America.
What Youll Be Doing
Develop and update PLC, HMI, SCADA, vision systems, RFID, and IIoT systems
Design and optimize hardwire layouts, panel layouts, and field device layouts
Lead installation management, supervision, and commissioning to ensure system integration and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, process engineering, and controls groups
Provide customer interaction, feedback, and support for deployment projects
Requirements
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming
Strong understanding of industrial networking
Electrical hardware design experience
Proven ability in equipment installation and commissioning
Strong multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills
Bonus Skills
Experience with stamping press, injection molding, casting, or CNC automation equipment
Exposure to Ignition Software
