Operational Support
Assist in managing day-to-day center operations
Supervise staff and ensure appropriate child-to-teacher ratios
Step in as acting director when the Center Director is absent
Staff Management
Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development for teachers
Schedule staff shifts, breaks, and substitute coverage
Monitor staff performance and address concerns
Child Development & Curriculum
Support curriculum planning and implementation
Monitor children's progress and provide guidance to teachers
Ensure age-appropriate learning activities and materials are used
Family Engagement
Greet families and maintain open communication
Address parent concerns and facilitate meetings or workshops
Promote family involvement in center activities
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to state and federal childcare regulations
Maintain health and safety standards
Oversee documentation such as attendance, incident reports, and food program records
Administrative Duties
Assist with billing, fee collection, and reporting
Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation
Use software tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication
