Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new insurance clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals

Understand customer needs to present tailored insurance policies (auto, home, life, business, etc.)

Close sales and meet or exceed individual performance goals

Deliver excellent customer service during and after the sales process

Assist policyholders with questions, policy changes, and claims support

Conduct regular follow-ups to review coverage and offer additional products

Stay informed on product updates, underwriting changes, and compliance standards

Work collaboratively with your local agency team to hit shared objectives

Requirements

Active insurance license (or willingness to become licensed quickly)

Strong communication and persuasion skills

Sales experience is helpful, but coachability and drive matter most

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

Basic tech skills (CRM systems, email, Microsoft Office, etc.)

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
