Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Travel Assignment
Location: Birmingham, AL
Our travel nurse staffing agency is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for an exciting travel contract in Birmingham, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career while working in a highly regarded hospital setting.
Assignment Details:
Travel/contract position
13-week assignment with potential to extend
Full-time schedule with day and/or evening shifts
Start date: ASAP or flexible based on candidate availability
Job Requirements:
Provide perioperative nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
Assist surgical team by circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR
Monitor patient condition and maintain sterile environment
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff for optimal patient outes
Ensure pliance with all hospital policies and safety standards
Needed Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or pact license)
Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong clinical, organizational, and munication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and surgical teams
