About the Role
JBS are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner, focused on Employee Relations (ER), to join our Northern Operations business. In this newly created position, you will partner with the Northern business to provide ER services which support the site HR teams, business objectives, a high-performance culture and employee engagement. These services include performance management advice, management of investigations, supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and relevant strategic HR initiatives.
Your business partners will include the Northern head office, Hemmant cold store, and five processing plants, five feedlots across Queensland and New South Wales.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the site HR teams on ER matters, including performance management, investigation, employee engagement etc.
Building the site HR teams knowledge in the ER space
Support the Northern team office across the full employee lifecycle
Acting as the HR point of escalation to support and guide our site-based HR teams
Supporting the implementation of Group and/or Northern strategic HR initiatives
Assisting with the development, review and implementation of northern HR policies, procedures, guidelines and templates
Supporting talent and succession activities, including 360 and 9 box processes and calibration sessions
Leading senior workplace investigations and performance management processes
Identifying and implementing improvements and efficient ways of working
Leading, developing and coaching HR and site leadership teams
Providing advice and supporting employee engagement activities
Supporting a positive industrial relations environment
About You
Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline
Previous experience in a similar Employee Relations or HR Business Partner role
Previous experience in FMCG and/or other relevant industry preferred
Demonstrated ability in managing varied and conflicting demands
Strong customer service orientation
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, while also being a collaborative team member
Highly proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
