About Us:
One Hospitality is the parent company of Standard Hall, Annex, Live, Short North Pint House, Forno and our newest location Astra at the Rooftop of the A/C Hotel.Responsibilities includes but not limited to::
Support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations
Manage daily food preparation and service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Supervise and lead kitchen staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards set forth by Culinary team
Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation in alignment with brand standards Instagramable food, yummy food
Assist with menu planning, development, and execution of specials and seasonal offerings
Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste through effective kitchen management
Ensure kitchen safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with local health regulations
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff; foster a positive and professional work environment
Step in for the Executive Chef in their absence to maintain seamless operations
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
Communicate effectively with team members and ensure high productivity is a main focusRequirements:
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training strongly preferred
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent culinary skills with a creative and quality-focused mindset
Proficient in kitchen operations, inventory management, and food costing
Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
