As Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for implementing, executing, and optimising the logistics processes in our warehouse in line with production standards, time and quality requirements, and established procedures and regulations: you’re on it.

How you do this? As warehouse manager, you and your team handle all inbound, storage, and outbound flows of goods for the client. You will work in an innovative environment with automation and digitalisation at its core, contributing to the future of DSV and its customers. You report directly to the Site Manager and will initially lead 1 to 3 Warehouse Team Leaders, as well as indirectly oversee 60 to 100 warehouse employees. You achieve this by:

coordinating your department’s logistics activities with other internal departments;

overseeing execution of logistics processes;

delivering management reports based on pre-defined targets/KPIs;

monitoring both qualitative and quantitative performance, with a focus on quality and security requirements, and taking corrective action when needed;

conducting performance and appraisal interviews.

You bring

a passion for logistics and the ability to inspire others with it;

the ability to maintain oversight and think several steps ahead with a solution-oriented mindset;

at least 5 years of managerial experience in a logistics leadership role, ideally within a 3PL environment;

some experience with logistics automation;

communication skills at all levels, in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
