Homer Electric Association, Inc.

is accepting applications from qualified individuals to fill several openings in the position of Plant Operator/Rover to staff our expanded generation facilities in the Nikiski and Soldotna areas.

Successful candidates will fill positions on maintenance and rotating shift schedules and may be required to provide support and back-up for facilities other than their reporting shop.

In order to be considered qualified, an applicant must have advanced technical training in gas or steam turbine design, manufacture, operations and maintenance, and five years work experience specific to the operations and maintenance of power generation facilities.

First consideration will be given to candidates demonstrating a strong history in Instrumentation Controls, or Boiler Operations.
