Warehouse Worker Job Description

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting the logistics and operations of the warehouse by preparing, processing, and loading shipments. This role ensures efficient handling of goods, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete shipments by processing and loading customer orders.

Prepare orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and staging orders in the delivery area.

Maintain accurate inventory controls by tracking stock locations and printing necessary documentation.

Keep the work environment safe and clean by organizing shelves, pallet areas, and shipping stations.

Follow all safety procedures, rules, and regulations to ensure a secure working environment.

Enter required data and complete reports as needed.

Stay current on warehouse practices by attending educational workshops and reviewing relevant publications.

Contribute to team success by accomplishing related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Strong teamwork and coordination abilities.

Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

Proficient in reporting and documentation.

Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.

Skilled in accurate and timely data entry.

Dependable with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Forklift Certification/Experience Required

Counterbalance forklift operation

Telehandler (rough terrain) operation

Box Truck Operation:

Ability to drive and operate a 26’ box truck with liftgate.

Experience with inventory tracking using Google Sheets or similar platforms.
