The technical Safety Specialist is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by conducting comprehensive risk assessments, working with laboratory managers and facilities team, overseeing HSE aspects of the projects, providing expert advice, performing regular inspections, providing training, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. The Health and Safety Specialist works closely with all departments to foster a culture of safety and health throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001) are highly desirable.
Proven experience in technical safety roles, preferably in laboratory or industrial settings.
Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
