This is a remote position.Safety and Health Analyst
Atlas Advisors, LLC is hiring experienced Safety and Health Analysts to join our team supporting the Department of Labor’s Site Exposure Matrices (SEM) program under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). In this role, you’ll help evaluate occupational toxic exposure data across Department of Energy (DOE) facilities, contributing to a mission that directly impacts worker health and safety. Opportunities are available at both mid-level and senior levels based on your background and experience. This position is remote with minimal travel, subject to government telework approval.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze DOE operational and historical records to identify toxic substance exposure information
Contribute to the development and maintenance of SEM Site Profiles and Chemical Profiles
Respond to technical inquiries from DOE, DOL, and other stakeholders
Collaborate with a remote team of analysts, scientists, and program managers
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality in SEM-related documentation
Communicate findings clearly in written reports and participate in virtual team briefings
Support document intake, review, and extraction workflows using established tools and formats
Senior-Level Safety and Health Analysts may also:
Serve in functional leadership roles such as Deputy Program Manager, SEM Quality Control Manager, IAS Administrator, or SEM Chemical Profile Manager
Lead complex document reviews and mentor junior analysts
Develop briefing materials and deliver technical presentations to government stakeholders
Qualifications
Required,
Active DOE Q Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (engineering, science, safety, etc.).
Mid-Level Requirements:
15+ years of relevant safety or health experience.
Experience analyzing DOE records and supporting technical programs.
Senior-Level Requirements:
20+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in lead roles such as Deputy PM, SEM QC Manager, or IAS Admin.
Demonstrated ability to lead analysis and contribute to program-level deliverables.
Desired,
Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
Prior work with classified or sensitive government documentation.
Strong technical writing skills, including exposure analysis or site profiles.
Experience supporting DOE programs such as EEOICPA or the Site Exposure Matrices.
Proficiency with tools used for data analysis, reporting, and presentation development.
