Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years

Join us as an Operations Lead Specialist Reconciliation & Analysis

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Operations Lead Specialist Reconciliation & Analysis. The Ops Lead Specialist R&A is responsible for assisting the supervisor with enhancing the productivity of the unit in reconciling the books and records of BBH & Co. clients for all security positions and cash. The individual is a subject matter specialist typically dealing with complex issues as they relate to the Reconciliation & Analysis unit and has direct contact with internal operating/client service teams to assist in issue resolution and to ensure quality of department deliverables. This individual will exhibit leadership traits commensurate with supervision and will be relied on for training of all junior staff.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

Ensure daily output standards for both quality and timeliness are met through quality oversight of BBH activities

Coordinate control/production related activities

Coordinate intraday and end of day prioritization and reconciliation of daily work/proof and control

Maintain a solid understanding of client's normal cash practices and deadlines

Research and resolve all client cash inquiries in accordance with R&A procedures and controls

Provides and understands the daily, weekly and monthly reports that are distributed to the internal and external clients

Communicates with the various internal clients on any items which are out of standard via phone, email and face to face periodic meetings to ensure all aged items are being worked on through resolution. Communicates professionally and constructively to effectively resolve any security exceptions in order to minimize risk and exposure

Responds to complex inquiries in a timely manner

Work closely with Transfer Agency, Mutual Funds, and Custody to foster strong working relationships

Act as a quality checker for your colleagues

Desired Qualifications:

BS/BA Degree, and/or equivalent work experience

2+ years of professional experience, financial services background preferred

Ability to work quickly and accurately

Strong aptitude for numbers and accuracy on tasks completed

Desire to provide superior client service

Working knowledge of global cash is plus

Ability to prioritize assignments and work quickly and accurately

Comprehensive working knowledge of Excel

Technical proficiency in internal and/or web-based systems a plus
