Job Description
The Sales Manager Channel Partners is responsible for overseeing and driving sales
through third-party distributors or channel partners. This position is hybrid (travel, on-site and home office), This position reports directly to the Vice-President of Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Distributor Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, including Private Label
accounts.
- Act as the main point of contact between the company and its distributors.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to distributor channels.
- Set sales targets and monitor distributor performance against those goals.
- Online Web based Customers Strategy
3. Training & Support
- Provide training on products, sales tactics, and brand positioning.
- Offering ongoing support to help distributors effectively sell the product.
4. Forecasting & Reporting
- Track sales data and market trends to forecast future sales.
- Report on distributor performance to internal stakeholders.
5. Market Development
- Identify opportunities to expand the distributor network or grow within existing
accounts.
- Assist in launching new products through distributors.
- Participate in trade shows and house fairs
- Visit customers and potential customers on a regular basis to maintain contact, extend
the range of products sold to individual accounts as well as acquisition of new
customers
- frequent travel (1-2 weeks per month) within North America
6. Compliance and Pricing
- Ensure distributors adhere to company policies, pricing structures, and branding
guidelines.
- Understanding of Price Mapping
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Sales and marketing expertise
- Analytical and forecasting ability
- Experience managing third-party relationships
- Industrial and hardware store/retail knowledge
Minimum requirements:
Requires a High School diploma or college degree and/or 5 years consummate
experience
Abilities required:
Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, efficient computer skills, and basic
knowledge of our product program.
