Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team! You will perform specific job duties to drive company success. Three to five years prior personal injury legal experience is required. If you are not an experienced Paralegal, please do not apply. *No phone calls please.*

Responsibilities:

§ Manage client in-take and treatment tracking

§ Complete pre-litigation procedures

§ Draft correspondence and other formal documents

§ Draft medical chronologies, discovery requests and responses

§ Draft settlement demands and complaints

§ File complaints, answers or motions with state and federal courts

§ Manage the court calendar, depositions, hearings and trials

§ Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date

§ Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent case information;

§ Prepare exhibits and evidence for court proceedings

§ Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

§ Plan and schedule client appointments

§ Greet and assist onsite guests

§ Answer inbound telephone calls, as necessary

§ Manage electronic and manual filing systems

§ Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

§ Proven experience (3-5 yrs) as a personal injury paralegal

§ Ability to prioritize and multitask

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

§ Proficient grammar, punctuation and proper sentence composition required

§ Strong attention to detail

§ Strong organizational skills

§ Excellent follow up skills required

§ Proficient with Office 365, Adobe, Clio, Pacer, Odyssey eFileGA, PeachCourt and Westlaw
