We’re seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer with deep expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and control system design.
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining advanced control systems for industrial automation applications.
You’ll work across the full development lifecycle — from concept and schematics through code development, testing, and commissioning — with a strong focus on clean, scalable, and high-performance control solutions.
You will be responsible for ... * Design and program PLC-based control systems for industrial automation projects * Develop user-friendly HMIs with a focus on performance, usability, and real-time data visibility * Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics using SolidWorks Electrical * Collaborate with engineering, production, and support teams to troubleshoot and optimize control systems * Build and document reusable logic structures and HMI templates for consistency and efficiency * Support system builds, integration, and testing activities * Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and internal quality requirements Your background * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field * 10+ years of experience in industrial controls and automation * Extensive hands-on experience with PLC programming (ladder logic, structured text, function block, etc.) * Strong skills in HMI development * Proficient in electrical design using SolidWorks Electrical or equivalent CAD software * Solid understanding of industrial components, sensors, I/O devices, and electrical control systems * Skilled in troubleshooting systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software * Knowledge of SCADA systems * Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networking Why Join Us?
