A Snapshot of Your Day
Set-up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment using CNC controls for multiple operations on transitions, to include but not limited to machining, bonding, welding, manual machining and hand tools, etc.
How You'll Make an Impact

Required to lift / move 50lbs of materials
Interpret detailed drawings/sketches, blueprints, manufactures specifications, etc., and determine necessary tools to perform required machining operations
Using material handling devices (Jib & B/C cranes and forklifts), loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator.
Follows Siemens established procedures to operate machinery and equipment. What You Bring
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in CNC operations, specifically in the following areas:
Machining
Welding
Laser applications
Coating machines (specific experience preferred)
Required Certifications:
Fork truck/crane license (Active or ability to acquire it immediately on selection)
Career Readiness / Work Keys Certificate - Silver Status.
Skills: Proficient in CNC operation, loading/unloading workpieces, adhering to QA protocols, performing complex metrology, and interpreting complex drawings; strong shop math skills.
Ability to wear a respirator and pass a Process Operator Proficiency Test.
Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests as required to perform the duties.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
