We’re looking for a forward-thinking professional to serve as Human Resources Analyst II or Senior Human Resouces Analyst who will play a pivotal role in leveraging HR analytics and technology to drive data-driven decision making and enhance operational efficiency across the department.

In this role, you will support the continuous improvement of HR programs, processes, and initiatives ensuring alignment with the City's goals. With a collaborative spirit and a passion for public service, the ideal candidate will bring sound judgment, creativity, and the ability to translate ideas into meaningful improvements. The position level (Analyst II or Senior) will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

Human Resources Analyst II - Salary range: $8,559.20 - 10,474.38 monthly

Senior Human Resources Analyst - Salary range: $9,841.87 - $12,045.18 monthly

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain knowledge and abilities would be:

Human Resources Analyst II

Education:

Equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field. Experience:

Two (2) years of responsible professional level experience performing duties similar to that of a Human Resources Analyst I with the City of Rancho Cordova. License or Certification:

Possession of a valid California driver's license.

Possession of a valid current certification of any of the following or equivalent is desirable:

Public Sector HR Association Certified Professional (PSHRA-CP)

Public Sector HR Association Senior Certified Professional (PSHRA-SCP)

Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)

Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)Senior Human Resources Analyst

Education:

Equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field. Experience:

Five (5) years of progressively responsible human resources management experience, including three (3) years of journey level human resources experience at a level equivalent to the City's classification of Human Resources Analyst II. License or Certification:

Possession of a valid California driver's license.

Possession of a valid current certification of any of the following or equivalent is highly desirable:

Public Sector HR Association Certified Professional (PSHRA-CP)

Public Sector HR Association Senior Certified Professional (PSHRA-SCP)

Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)

Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
