Summary:

Salesforce Administrator drives the efficiency and effectiveness of our growing sales and customer service teams to help them thrive while ensuring best practices. Salesforce Administrator is a trusted advisor on all things Salesforce. They are a vital bridge between business and technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 1400+ users

Work with Salesforce team to help solution business challenges with declarative configuration changes

Able to partner with non-technical business leaders to translate their needs into a solution

Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations

Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new business requests.

Improvement of the data quality in the Salesforce org with regards to the end-to-end processes in the entire company

Evaluates internal processes and design solutions to improve operational efficiencies.

Works with 3rd-party vendors to implement new systems and product features.

Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

Execute configuration changes.

Perform new release evaluations & executes new functionality rollouts.

Perform mass data imports using the API or import tools as requested.

Manage and implement customization requests, including creating process builders, workflows, flows, alerts, automated email responses, etc.

Work with developers to refactor existing code and translate to process builder, declarative automation

Maintain updated system documentation and related SFDC policies/procedures.

Skills:

Self-motivated and able to work both with the team and independently while remote

Deep understanding of general CRM architecture as well as Salesforce process defaults and data structures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards

Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, translate high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs

Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes

Solid understanding of and detailed experience with the Salesforce.com architecture

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar project management tool

Knowledge of Agile methodology, working in 2-week sprints, daily scrums, etc.

Areas of focus; Service Cloud, Omni-Channel, Communities, Case Management, Knowledge, CTI, SMS, Chat integration. Added plus: Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein Analytics

Education & Experience Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator

Able to demonstrate proven core Salesforce System Admin skills and knowledge, including user management, workflows/rules, page and custom object configuration, Site and Community administration.

Experience working with other Salesforce Administrators, Salesforce Developers and Salesforce Partners

Experienced with Service Cloud and Omni Channel

Experienced in implementing and running installed packages and/or connected apps

Experience with Salesforce Lightning and migrating from Classic

Experienced working in an Agile environment and with Agile tooling like Jira / Azure DevOps

Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.

Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity

Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality

Strong data management abilities

A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion

A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements

Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred

Certifications:

Salesforce.com Admin (ADM-201) certified

Hiring Range:$85,000.00 - $95,000.00
