Position Overview
The Annual Giving and Grateful Patient Operations Specialist will manage a wide range of complex administrative operations including implementing, coordinating, and monitoring annual giving and medical center campaigns, interacting with internal and external constituents, managing budgets and data, and preparing basic reports and presentations. Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving and Analytics, this position will collaborate and build relationships across the Medical Center and Health Science Colleges Advancement Team to further the goal of acquiring and growing a robust donor and grateful patient pipeline.
The Specialist operates as a collaborator with strong attention to detail and accuracy, judgment, discretion, and fiscal responsibility to include managing expenditures against an established budget. They must be adaptable to shifting priorities and demands and be able to balance a workload of varied tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assists with a variety of annual giving and grateful patient campaigns and tactics; project manages initiatives to keep the team on track using tools such as Workfront and Teams to share information. Coordinates with a variety of teams and vendors to ensure project management is optimized. Assists Senior Strategist by attending unit meetings, capturing outcomes, developing agendas and reports to guide meetings, helping prioritize unit campaigns by keeping information organized, aiding in communication with units Maintains budget tracking and submission of requests into the workday system and communicates with external vendors. Project manages boutique annual giving and stewardship efforts.

Assists the director in maintaining data records for the broader medical center advancement team. Maintains access and distribution lists for related channel memberships in outlook and Microsoft teams. Assists with gathering and analyzing data for benchmarking and new project research s for the team.

Contributes to Advancement by fostering and exhibiting teamwork; participates on internal committees/workgroups as appropriate; performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent operational and organizational skills
Ability to operate with a high level of discretion in appropriate use and sharing of data

One year of experience working at a non-profit institution
Experience with a customer relationship database
Proficiency in Excel and Project management
