Overview
The CFO will act as a key partner to the CEO and Board, leading financial strategy, governance, and operational efficiency. The role focuses on turning around a loss-making business, driving profitability, ensuring compliance, and enabling sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a financial turnaround strategy to restore profitability.
Oversee accounting, treasury, reporting, and internal controls in line with IFRS and local regulations.
Drive cost optimization, revenue growth, and performance improvement across operations.
Partner with business units and maintain strong relations with banks, auditors, and regulators.
Ensure compliance with tax, governance, and audit requirements while managing risks.
Lead and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Masters preferred).
CPA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent strongly preferred.
10+ years in senior finance leadership, with at least 5 years as CFO in high-performance environments.
Proven success in business turnaround and profitability improvement.
Strong knowledge of FMCG sector financials in Qatar.
Bilingual: English required, Arabic preferred.
