Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Cognos Reporting Developer with strong hands-on experience in developing complex reports, dashboards, and troubleshooting within Cognos or similar BI tools. The role will involve supporting production reporting needs, building dashboards for strategic initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on performance and configuration improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Cognos Report Studio and Cognos Analytics v11.

Handle report embedding and visualization requirements for business teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in Cognos or other BI platforms.

Collaborate with ASCI teams for report enhancements and incident handling.

Engage in administration and configuration of reporting solutions (Active and SCALE).

Analyze SQL queries for performance improvements and assist with database troubleshooting.

Work closely with CloudOps and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and support.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in IBM Cognos Report Studio (or similar BI tools).

Strong SQL skills with ability to write and debug complex queries.

Experience in metadata modelling using Cognos Framework Manager.

Exposure to advanced Cognos features like drill-through, conditional layouts, and advanced prompting.

Good to Have:

Experience working on MySQL databases.

Cognos administration or configuration knowledge.

Exposure to cloud environments (GCP preferred).
