Flagger/Traffic Control Person

Tackaberry Construction is a local, family run business, serving eastern Ontario since 1957, offering competitive wages with group benefits.

We are currently seeking Flaggers for various jobsites in the Leeds and Grenville/Lanark area.

These are seasonal positions with a starting rate of $20.00/hour.

Hours will vary according to business demand and weather conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities: Using hand signals and direction signs to direct traffic through road construction sites Communicating with other flaggers using hand-held radios to direct two-way traffic onto a single lane Informing the construction crew of any traffic issues that may affect their safety Appropriately positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites Working with the construction team to establish safe movement of traffic around construction zones, in accordance with safety regulations
