Now Hiring: Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) or Medical Lab Technologists (MLT) – Warm Springs, OR

Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center is seeking dedicated Contract/Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientists or Medical Lab Technologists to serve the Indian Health Services population in Warm Springs, OR. Position Overview:
Location: Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center, Warm Springs, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Contract Length: Up to 1 year, with possible extensions
Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Setting: Outpatient Clinic Laboratory
Candidates Accepted: Local and Travel

Requirements:
ASCP or equivalent certification
BLS certification
2 years of Prior clinical/medical lab experience
Phlebotomy experience preferred
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Prior IHS or travel experience is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, and microbiology
Operate and maintain lab equipment, including QC and calibration
Support outpatient primary care setting
Occasionally assist with phlebotomy
Apply sound professional judgment in reviewing lab results

Requirements:

Minimum of Associates Degree in Medical Technology
Bachelors in Related field preferred
Valid ASCP certification, or equivalent required
1-2 years experience as a MLT or CLS in a Medical Lab
Experience providing care to patients within a rural area
Must be a US citizen
State licensure, if required.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must be willing to pass Federal Security Clearance
Immunization records will be required
