Physician Leader - Urgent Care - OhioHealth - Greater Columbus Area

OhioHealth is excited to announce an opening for a System Lead Physician of Urgent Care to support and lead our growing urgent care network across the system. This unique opportunity allows the hired physician to play a key leadership role while continuing to deliver hands-on clinical care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights:

Serve as the physician leader across our expanding urgent care program.

Provide oversight and support to site physicians throughout the network.

Be an immediate clinical resource to providers during operational hours.

Collaborate in the development and implementation of urgent care policies and procedures.

Oversee the engagement and management of moonlighters, contingent staff, residents, and medical students.

Work in a collaborative environment supported by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, App's, and clinical staff.

Maintain a 20% administrative / 80 % clinical work balance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or IM/Peds.

Prior experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings.

Previous leadership experience is strongly preferred.
