Job Title: Senior Developer – SailPoint
Contract Type: Until EOY 2025 (with possible extensions)
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Rate: $65 - $75/hr
Work Authorization: W2 Only (Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship, F1/OPT Visas, C2C, or 1099)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SailPoint Developer to lead the design, customization, and support of SailPoint IdentityIQ within our enterprise environment. This role is critical in advancing our identity governance program, ensuring secure and efficient access management across systems. The successful candidate will have deep hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, strong development skills, and the ability to integrate SailPoint with enterprise applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of development experience, with at least 3+ years specifically in SailPoint IdentityIQ
Proficiency in:
Java, BeanShell, XML, JavaScript
SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
Directory Services: LDAP, Active Directory
APIs: REST, SOAP for integrations
Proven experience developing and customizing connectors (SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Azure AD)
Strong understanding of IAM concepts: provisioning, de-provisioning, RBAC, access reviews
Familiarity with development tools: Git, Maven, Eclipse, Jira, ServiceNow
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, documentation, and communication skills
Experience working in Agile/DevOps delivery environments
Certifications preferred: SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, CompTIA Security+, CISSP
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of enhancements for SailPoint IdentityIQ
Customize IdentityIQ components to enable identity lifecycle, certifications, policies, and enforcement
Write and optimize BeanShell scripts for rules, workflows, and transformations
Build and maintain connectors for enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, and Azure AD
Perform data aggregation, entitlement mapping, and identity correlation
Troubleshoot provisioning issues, aggregation errors, and rule execution problems
Document configurations, processes, and operational procedures for audits and future use
Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance improvements
Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to drive IAM compliance and best practices
