**Duties:** Use Agile/SCRUM methodology with enterprise-level application development and experience on Agile Project Management tools, such as JIRANersion One or equivalent. Work closely with business analysts, UI/UX designers, technical specialists, business users, and systems leadership on the most complex and/or integrated systems/applications issues. Perform key portions of the system development lifecycle, including designing, coding, building, testing, and supporting proprietary and/or purchased software systems/applications. Develop scope and implement unit testing strategies to ensure quality of deliverables against end-user requirements. Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May assign, monitor, and review progress and accuracy of work, directing efforts and providing technical guidance on more complex issues, mentor and train lower-level staff, and review progress with management, operating with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Strategically and tactically administer and improve the user experience of the plan sponsor portal. Collaborate with project owner on a daily basis to ensure vision of technology and products. Use Apache tomcat web server and Weblogic application server with load balancing and performance tuning. Showcase work to senior management and articular business value within the confines of the technology delivered. May work remotely from anywhere in the US.

**Requirements:** Master's degree* (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related; 3 years of experience as a Software Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or a related position, which must include: Agile (Scrum) Methodology, Core Java/J2ee, Spring, Spring-batch, EJB, Restful API (Apache CXF), Tomcat server, Web sphere server, Oracle 10g, Junit, Maven, Eclipse, JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, AWS Cloud technologies (API Gateway, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, EC2, Aws Batch, CloudWatch), Serverless & Micro-services architectures, JIRA, Jenkins, CI/CD process. *Will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and five years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and 3 years of experience, including experience in skills above.
