Variety of shift times available including evening and sleepover Nights!

$36.23- $65.21 p/hr (with penalty rates) (SCHADS Schedule 3E, Level 2) + salary packaging

About your new role

Wellways are excited to offer the position of Home Care Worker, this role will suit someone who enjoys interacting and supporting our participant with their daily activities.

In this role you will work on the front line of our Consumer Directed Services, delivering a wide range of services to support participants activities of daily living. This role requires you will work closely with the person to ensure their individual needs are met.

Home Care Workers are the front line of our programs, providing consumers with the personalised support to assist our participants to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. No day will be the same and may include providing supports such as companionship, personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance and medication management. An essential element of your role is that you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of care provided to participants.

You will need:

Certificate lll Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (Desirable but not essential) or equivalent working or lived experience

Currents Drivers Licence

Satisfactory National Police Records Check

Current Working with Children Check

Right to Work in Australia

NDIS Worker Screening check

NDIS Workers Orientation Module Certificate
