This role requires a highly professional, organised and positive individual. The position holder will work closely with the Finance Director (FD) to make the best use of their time by dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks. Additionally, the person will be responsible to provide secretarial support and ensure smooth running of Board Meetings. A high degree of discretion is required as this position has access to Board matters of a highly confidential nature.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

Full diary management including organising and maintaining up to date appointments for FD & Director of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs

Receiving agenda items from the BOD, collating and prepare the Board pack for the Board meetings Ensuring the FD is well prepared for meetings

Reminding the FD of important tasks and deadlines

Taking minutes for meetings to be attended by the FD and at Executive Board meetings and Board meetings

Travel booking and co-ordination

Collating and filing expenses for the FD

Filing paperwork and record-keeping

Assisting with various documentation &/or applications

Following up and reporting on actions from both Executive and Board meetings

Keeping all statutory registers and records up to date

Keeping a diary of future meetings and activities with the assistance of the BOD

Maintaining the filing system for minutes and reports

Physical and electronic filing and indexing of corporate documents

Other ad hoc activities and projects

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively

Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals

Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope

Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs

Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software

Experience in working as a Personal or Executive Assistant and with taking minutes

Excellent written and spoken English

Experience in managing a diary and travel

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some the following skills:

Previous experience in the sports marketing industry

Previous experience in a regulated industry, preferably gaming
