Position Overview:
The Automotive Account Manager will play a key role in leading customer programs from initial inquiry through to production launch. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring successful execution of projects by coordinating internal teams, managing timelines and budgets, and building long-term client relationships.Key Responsibilities:
Manage initial customer inquiries and RFQs (Requests for Quote)
Present company capabilities to internal leadership and customer teams
Oversee the development and accuracy of customer quotes
Communicate early-stage product concepts to R&D and manufacturing teams
Ensure all project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met
Serve as a liaison between the company and automotive customers, cultivating strong relationships
Proactively resolve any product or project-related issues with customers
Support business development by identifying opportunities within existing accounts
Qualifications:
Proven experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a program management, sales, or account management role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable interacting with customers, executives, and technical teams
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other business software; skilled in developing quotes and project documentation
Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently
Bachelor’s degree preferred
