We are seeking a security-minded infrastructure engineer to lead key efforts to help secure, simplify, and scale our systems. River primarily uses Google Cloud but has a number of on-premises systems.

River is headquartered in Columbus, OH, and has raised more than $50 million from leading investors, including Goldcrest, Kingsway, Polychain, M13, DG, and Valor.

What You Will Be Doing

Building the systems that power the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our software services

Leading projects to improve security, availability, reliability and scalability across our infrastructure

Creating and executing on disaster recovery plans

Participating in on-call rotations

Shaping the culture of the infrastructure organization for years to come

What We Look For In You

At least 3 years experience in a DevOps, Infra and/or SRE role

A deep understanding of computer and network security

Experience running Kubernetes in production

Hands-on coding ability

Highly proficient with Google Cloud Platform services like GKE, CloudSQL, LoadBalancing, CloudArmor, Networking, BigQuery, Compute and Security services

Strong network perimeter defense and analysis skills

Familiar with supporting engineering teams in a collaborative and productive way

Take ownership of the systems you build

Experience developing solutions to ambiguous problems

Location & Salary

100% remote option available within the United States. With offices in SF, NYC, and Columbus

Salary range between $150,000 - $220,000 based on skills and experience
