Fogarty Finger, an award-winning architecture firm, has rapidly become a major design practice, with considerable experience delivering complete architecture and interior design packages for residential and commercial projects of every type and size. We are headquartered in New York City with two smaller offices in Atlanta and Boston.

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Architectto join our growing Atlanta team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in architectural design and construction documentation, with the ability to guide and support designers while ensuring that the design intent is accurately captured and executed.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and organize comprehensive construction document sets, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and efficiency.

Demonstrate expertise in building envelope waterproofing, structural systems, curtain wall, and storefront systems.

Provide detailed interior finish specificationsand solutions while maintaining design integrity.

Assess cost feasibility versus design intentto optimize material selection and construction methods.

Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Collaborate effectively with MEP/FA systemsto ensure seamless integration and coordination.

Offer technical guidance and supportto the design team, bridging the gap between concept and execution.

Maintain a strong eye for design and detail, ensuring that architectural elements align with the intended vision.

Qualifications:

7+ years of proven experience in architectural detailing and construction documentation.

Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and technical coordination.

Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills.

Ability to mentor and support design teams in executing high-quality architectural projects.
