Job Title: Structural Analysis Engineer

Location with zip code: Wichita, KS

Pay Rate:$55/hr - $65/hr on W2

Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night: 1ST SHIFT; 8AM-5PM

Duration: 3 Months +

Role & Responsibilities:

Apply knowledge of structural analysis (e.g., materials technology, finite element modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, structural testing, etc.) to determine structural adequacy for customer requirements and regulatory compliance; and to collaborate on structural design, manufacturing, and post-delivery of products.

Required Qualifications:

Openings for both Commercial and Defense

Bachelors of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering or other related course of study obtained from an ABET accredited program

Requires educational credentials meeting the Spirit classification standards for engineers and typically 5 to 8 years of experience in a stress or structural analysis engineering classification / position

Demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment

Working knowledge of aerospace industry practices and standards

Advanced thinking and problem-solving ability

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Must be familiar with classical structural analysis techniques, using free body diagrams and internal loads model data

Candidate must be a resident of or willing to relocate to the Wichita, KS area

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance

Successful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approval

Preferred Qualifications:

Detailed FEA, having both metallic and composite analysis methods, familiarity with CATIA V5 or V6 tools, and fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
