The Role

Were looking for a seasoned MongoDB Specialist to design, manage, and optimize high-availability database systems. This is a senior role that requires hands-on experience with MongoDB administration, performance tuning, and data modeling. You'll work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure the database environment is secure, scalable, and resilient.

The Requirements

We're seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

Solid experience as a MongoDB Developer, DBA, or Administrator

Expert-level knowledge of MongoDB querying, aggregation pipelines, indexing, and advanced performance tuning

Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas, Ops Manager, or Compass

Proficient in replication, sharding, and NoSQL data modeling

Skilled in managing MongoDB clusters (e.g., replica sets, sharded clusters)

Familiarity with backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes

Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments and scripting with Bash, Python, or JavaScript

Knowledge of public cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus

Strong analytical thinking and clear communication skills

Nice to Have:

MongoDB Certifications (e.g., Certified Developer or DBA)

Exposure to other databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis

Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps methodologies
