About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team at UAB Medical West in the GI Lab Department. You will supervise LPNs, Patient Care Techs, and other team members as assigned. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of employment

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

BLS or must obtain within 30 days of hire. ACLS and/or PALS certification from the American Heart Association may be required depending on the nursing unit.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications:
