Remote Electrical Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering high-impact engineering solutions across industrial and energy sectors. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in electrical systems design and integration within the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems for industrial facilities, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.

Prepare technical documentation such as single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and equipment specifications.

Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and client requirements.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project planning, budgeting, and execution.

Conduct site visits for inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical installations.

Qualifications:

Must be able to communicate in French.

Must be willing to travel 2 weeks per quarter.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas sector.

Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM Power Tools).

Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and industry standards.
