Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians

Job Description

Local electrical company, with over 29 years in the South Florida area, specializing in residential, commercial and industrial wiring is currently seeking experienced Journeyman electricians with a willingness to learn and skills to lead! Able to work independently and lead a team. You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers. We offer top pay for experienced professionals, paid holidays, as well as paid vacations. We are also currently in need of Apprentices with a strive to learn and ready to work!

Responsibilities:

Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures

Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems

Troubleshoot motor and control systems

Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems

Identify issues/problems and work to resolve

Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Attention to Details

Work independently

Journeymen Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Journeyman/Foreman

Minimum 6 years experience

Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals

Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Knowledge in current technology

Experience in cameras, security systems and Cat6 is helpful
