QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN - WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE, Power Grid Components

We are seeking a self-motivated, efficient, and meticulous Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team. As the Quality Assurance Technician/Warehouse associate, you will have both quality testing and warehouse duties. The ideal candidate for this position has a two-year technical degree as well as warehousing experience. This person is expected to be self-motivated, very detail oriented, and ready to learn and experience new things.
LOCATION: Fully Onsite - Locust Grove, GA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing physical proof testing as well as electro-mechanical test and verify test results conform to product specifications.
Inspecting new products for quality control issues and investigating any discrepancies in stock levels; executing our ISO 9001 Quality system.
Documenting inspection results and maintaining all test reports, logs, and files for all incoming shipments as well as random testing as required.
Reading and recording test results.
Following all lab and warehouse safety regulations.
Operating forklifts and other equipment to handle materials and stock.
Ensuring daily equipment inspections are completed and documented prior to shift start and deficiencies get reported immediately.
Complying with all safety procedures and in/outdoor tidy maintenance guidelines ensuring the safety, security and sanitation of the warehouse; conducting periodic inspection of the warehouse.
Maintaining accurate documents and records for all testing requirements.
Performing other assigned duties as may be delegated by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year technical degree strongly preferred.
Must possess strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, calipers, squares, protractors, and other measuring devices required.
Ability to analyze information, report research results, and promote process improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Computer skills required.
Written and oral communication skills.
Blueprint and 3D model reading skills.
Warehouse experience is a plus.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed throughout the work shift.
Must be a United States citizen.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and have reliable transportation.

Must hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
