About the Role

M3 Global LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a high-visibility U.S. Navy program involving the refit of a flagship barge. This is a fixed-term assignment (~8 months) requiring strong organizational skills, common sense, and the ability to keep a complex boatyard refit on track.

This is not a desk job, we need someone who can interface with surveyors, the shipyard, and vendors, and provide disciplined oversight while reporting status back to the program lead.

Responsibilities

Þ Serve as the on-the-ground point of contact for the yard in Mississippi

Þ Coordinate with surveyors, naval architects, and skilled trades

Þ Track deliverables and ensure milestones are met on time and within scope

Þ Assist with documentation, purchase orders, and quality oversight

Þ Report weekly status updates to program leadership

Þ Travel as needed to the Mississippi yard

Preferred Background

Þ U.S. Navy or Coast Guard veteran (E-6 - E-9 or O-3 - O-5 ranges ideal)

Þ Experience with small craft, cutters, or shipboard maintenance programs.

Þ Familiarity with yard periods, inspections, or vessel refits

Þ Strong attention to detail, self-starter, mission-oriented
