Job Details:
Pay: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Fridays 7:30am - 12:00pm
Duration: Temp to Perm
Benefits: Holiday entitlement increases to 25 days plus bank holidays upon permanent employment
Job Role: As a Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the yard. Duties include allocating tasks to staff, supervising a small team of up to five employees, and overseeing the checking in and out of materials and finished products. The Yard Supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring the production area remains stocked with materials and confirming that engineering diagrams match outgoing materials. Forklift operation is also required.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience
Experience working in an engineering or industrial manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of engineering drawings
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
