Job description:

The Team

AQR is looking to hire full-time Analysts to join our U.S. Wealth team within the Business Development group. The U.S. Wealth team was created to engage with taxable U.S. investors and their advisors. The group is responsible for education, awareness and managing new and current client relationships for AQR strategies through dedicated coverage to the Family Office community, Registered Investment Advisor community, as well as elite advisors and teams within the major Broker-Dealer segment.

Your Role

Specific responsibilities vary from team to team within the U.S. Wealth - Business Development group, but generally include some or all of the following:

Provide support to senior members of Business Development whose objective is to build and deepen relationships with investors

Build and run analysis centered around providing custom solutions for our taxable clients

Liaise with members of Business Development and Product Specialist teams to customize marketing and review materials for client and prospect interactions

Develop strong AQR product and asset class knowledge and demonstrate interest in the industry

Proactively use databases and sales reports to assist senior relationship managers in managing their territories

Complete assigned sections of Requests for Proposal/Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires and review in entirety before submission

What You’ll Bring

A Bachelor’s degree; concentrations in Economics, Finance or Business

High degree of intellectual curiosity

High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

Well-organized and detail-oriented

Self-starter, able to work independently as well as within a team

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of finance and the investment management industry is highly desirable
