What You Need for this Position
5+ years estimating Commercial Construction Projects
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
Strong skills in Estimating, Communication, Estimating Software, Organization, Collaboration
Core Responsibilities
Lead the estimating process on the assigned project from start to finish on lump sum hard bids to developmental estimates (conceptual to GMP) to ensure accuracy and completeness
Develop full project cost estimate for various type of projects using available estimating software suite
Develop full trade estimate for self-perform trades
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, architects, engineers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure estimates reflect project requirements and align with overall project goals.
Thoroughly analyze project plans and specifications: Conduct a thorough review of project plans, specifications, and other bid documents to ensure a complete understanding of scope and requirements to mitigate risks
Build and maintain relationship with subcontractor market and provide evaluations
Participate in Design-Build, CM-R, CM-A preconstruction process including creation of estimates at conceptual - schematic - design development - GMP phase.
Proficient in multiple digital take-off, estimating software including Bluebeam, On-Screen Take-off, Pro-Est, Sage Estimating, Excel - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
